Pete Hanson knows what it feels like to be covered in confetti. That’s because the U.S. Hall of Fame coach has celebrated more than his share of collegiate and national team wins during his storied 41-year career. As one of the most celebrated coaches in the country, his vast knowledge and experience have earned him the reputation as a master of the men’s game.

– Head coach of The Ohio State University men’s volleyball program from 1985-present
– Overall record of 677-335 (through 2017)
– Three-time NCAA Champion
– Appeared in 12 NCAA Tournaments
– Twelve-time MIVA Tournament Champion
– Appeared in 17 MIVA Championships

National Career
– Coached various USA National & Regional Teams from ’86-’13
– Won gold at the Olympic Sports Festival (as Assistant Coach for the North team)

– Four-time AVCA Regional Coach of the Year
– Four-time Big Ten Coach of the Year
– USAV All-Time Great Coach in The Ohio State Athletics Dept. Hall of Fame
