Welcome to The Art of Coaching Volleyball’s Head Coach Certification, Level 1 presented by Hall of Fame Coach Jim Stone. Here are a few things you should know about your course experience:
1) Saving and accessing the course
After you leave the course, your progress will be saved automatically and you will be able to start where you left off at anytime. To re-access the course, simply log into your Art of Coaching Volleyball account, hover over the menu item that says “Education,” and click on “My Certifications.”
2) Asking questions
We want your certification experience to be as enjoyable and rewarding as possible. We figured there isn’t much that’s more exciting than having the chance to interact with your Hall of Fame course instructor! Jim Stone himself will be joining the forum to answer questions and discuss individual topics every week. Directly below each course video you will find a link to that unit’s forum where you can leave questions and comments for Jim or fellow certification students. If you have any technical questions regarding the forum, please email us at volleyball@theartofcoaching.com.
3) Certificate and professional development credit
It’s possible to receive professional development credit for taking this online certification based on your school district’s policies. To prove that you passed the class, you will receive a printable certificate at the end of the course. This can be sent to your district for approval, though each district is different so we offer no guarantees that this certification will count for credit. One important note: In order to receive the certificate, you must complete the class within six months of the purchase date and receive a grade of at least 75% on the course quizzes.
4) How long can I access the course?
Once you’ve purchased the course, you have lifetime access. You’ll be able to view the course as many times as you like for as long as you like. This includes all updates and any bonus materials we add at a later date. One important thing to remember – to receive your Level 1 certification, you must complete the course within six months of enrollment. You’ll still have access to the content if you miss the deadline, but you won’t be able to receive the certification.
