There are a couple schools of thought when attacking from the “weak” side.  Mechanically, nothing changes.  There is still a four step approach, finishing with r/l foot sequence (right handers).  However, some coaches teach the angle of the approach differently.  Some want the attacker approaching straight up the line, then rotate into the court if they want to hit cross-court.  Others want the attacker to approach toward the cross court corner, so they are facing most of the court, then hit the line by attacking “wrist away”.  There isn’t a right/wrong with either.  Experiment on your own and observe results.
